Welcome to Harmony Heights Baptist Church

Pastor’s Words
Greetings!

The Every Believer a Witness revival was very good. If you were not able to attend and would like to know more about that, please let me know and I will be able to get you a set of CD’s to learn how to tell your story and be a better witness.

It was a joy to baptize the two young ladies—Raven Baker and Shandi Rawlin. Both of those teenagers are going back to their homes out of state. They had received Christ at our youth camp, but not only were they a part of our youth group this summer, they were able to come to church because of our van ministry. So the fruit that we have seen with these two young ladies is they were involved with our youth group with Leo and Laura and were able to come to church because of our van ministry. If you have any desire to help with the van ministry or youth, please let me know.

Starting next Sunday we want to kick off a 101 days of prayer for our Nation. We want to highlight in our prayer a few areas that are critical to our Nation:
1. Pray that America will vote in godly people in government positions.
2. Pray that somehow we can stop abortions in America.
3. Pray that our supreme court will make decisions based upon our laws and not make laws themselves.
4. Pray that America will remain strong in her godly heritage and not become socialistic in nature. We will keep this on the front burner for the next 101 days starting next Sunday.

Have a great week.

COME EXPECTING!
Pastor Charlie

Youth News

What an Awesome GOD we serve. He is alive and well in our youth and they are overflowing with the Holy Spirit. Pray that their walk with Christ continues by leaps and bounds. Stop them and ask them to share with you their camp stories. You will be blessed! We want to thank all of the sponsors that gave so willingly to our camp projects and also those who provided scholarships. Lives were changed in our youth as well as the leaders. Bless all of you that have the same desire for the youth ministry that Laura, Tosha, Brian and I do. We love you all. Thank you for the opportunity to minister to our children and youth. Children’s camp is coming up and also day camp (July 20-23 and the 24th). If you haven’t already—take time to pray for them. Laura and Tabatha Love (Junior leader) will be with them and we know that GOD has big plans for all of them. It is not by accident that they are going. Tabatha felt led by the Holy Spirit at youth camp to devote her life to missions. Our prayer is that we surround each other with Christian (Agape) love.

In Christian Love, Leo
